About the event
Receive a brief introduction to beekeeping before jumping into a creative painting project. Beehives are traditionally painted to protect the wood from elements but it also gives an opportunity to be creative and honor the bee hive! You will get the choice of painting a box for an active hive kept at Treeline Acres Farm or take your bee box home as a rustic statement piece or garden art.
Bee boxes, paint, and supplies will be provided. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. This class will take place outside on an active farm. You must register prior to the event. Spots are limited. 10 spots available.
