Thru
the years mares have come and gone. We have consistently been
moving ahead with better bloodlines and trying to improve our
broodmare band. However, I truly believe we are at a point
where everyone of our mares are worthy of a place in our
program. Our plans are to downsize somewhat but to try to
determine who stays and who might go is nearly impossible. We
consider them all to be some of the best!

I must admit I have two softspots so we'll start with them.

will die on our farm. She was 1 of the 3 of the very
first mares that we purchased. We honestly didn't know
what we had when we brought her home but now we do! She
owes us nothing, in fact we owe her. She has
consistently produced us our very top show horses and
has definitely earned her keep beyond expectation.
Absolutely beautiful to look at and a wonderful
disposition. She is the dam of A Clayboy Classic. What
can we say, we just love her!

Coolita
is my other softspot! This mare has totally incredible
pedigree loaded with the best of the best World Champion
halter horses. Her foals always come home champions. Her
babies halter phenomenally and then go on to ride. Coolita is a big, soggy mare but yet very smooth &
elegant. She is very much a typical gentle giant and her
babies seem to follow her mold! She has produced
Calli & Chevy.

Mary's
mom was a Mr Sonny Money daughter who was 6th at the QH
World Show and sold for $100,000 as a young mare. Mary
has only had 1 foal so far sired by Smoker. We showed
her first foal, Shade, last fall and he came home with both
SK & AB
Reserve Futurity Championships. I have a feeling that
this mare has only just begun to strut her stuff for us. We are presently
expecting a full sibling to Shade any day now.

Atti
is a grandaughter of the great Mr Conclusion. She has
given us 3 babies but unfortunately we lost 2 of them.
Her babies are yet to grace the show ring but look out
when they do! We are sure they will meet our
expectations with a mom like this. She will be bred to
An Awesome Image for a double registered baby next
spring.

Phoebe
is our deluxe pleasure mare. I was so surprised when we
went to look at Phoebe as I did not expect the pretty
that she has. Baby doll head and very balanced,
but most of all floats across the ground with no knee
action at all! This mare should have been shown but we
snatched her up and are anxious for some pleasure
foals. She is being bred to Protect Your Assets for
a foal next spring.
